I pretty much figure people visit my blogs for my own unique slant on things. Sure, the information I offer on topics like herb keeping and lore is sound, but the way I present the ideas is what makes my blog -- my blog.
From time to time, though, I find the most amazing things on the web. Sometimes they're photos, sometimes video clips, and occasionally they're witty, wise or worrisome essays about life in the mommy lane, or the slowing down lane, or the befuddled and confused lane (all of which I've traveled at one time or another).
The topics vary, but what they all have in common is that they've gotten my attention and aren't a good fit for the topics I'm writing about right now.
I'm sharing them here because I thought you'd enjoy them.
Most are quick links or embedded links to videos (photos, animated drawings)and the like.

I share quarters with houseplants, quilts, cats, dogs, fish, and one very understanding husband. I have a wave machine on my desk, mobiles in my office, and orchids in my eastern facing window. Spend a little time with me. I want to share some ideas and hear what you have to say about the world. They used to call this "disputing the passage", and that's what I would like for us to do. Even during tough times, it's nice to coax a plant out of the ground, make a blanket out of scraps of fabric, and craft a few things to give away during the holidays.
